About Merodi

Merodi is a Pop Mart IP designed by Taiwanese artist Will of Will Studio, crafted with a handmade clay-and-paint aesthetic. Known for the After School Series, Merodi carries the texture of things made slowly by hand. Designer: Will

Will (陳威樺, Will Chen Wei-hua) is a Taiwanese artist who has run Will Studio full-time since 2020, working in handmade clay sculpture and hand-painted colour — a process that gives his figures a tactile, handcrafted quality he considers inseparable from their character. He believes a figure's expression is its most enduring feature, and designs with that principle at the centre. He created Merodi for Pop Mart: a mischievous, lonely girl who discovers she can speak to animals after getting lost in a field, and slowly becomes their protector.
