We are Pop Bean — 萌粒 in Chinese, which translates loosely as "adorable grain," which is accurate. Pop Mart created us as a miniature format: small, rounded, stackable, the kind of figure you place on a desk and feel slightly better about the day. We are not one character but a recurring shape — a vessel that different artists and collaborators have filled with different themes. Classic Sitting, Classic Lying Down, Baked Bread, Sweet Cup, Daruma, Coffee Factory, Lucky Star, Going Outing With Me. DIMOO and Labubu and Skullpanda have worn our shape for crossover series. There are more than twenty series now, each one a small argument for the idea that tiny things, done with care, are worth keeping.
