We were never meant to be cute. We were written into a manor where every match is a chase: four survivors decoding cipher machines in the dark, one hunter listening for their heartbeat. A novelist went looking for the truth behind the disappearances there, and our stories have been unfolding ever since. NetEase opened the manor gates in China on April 2, 2018. Within a month, 50 million players had downloaded us. By July the rest of the world could play, and our downloads went on to pass 100 million. Over the years the cast kept growing: a Perfumer who rewinds her own steps, a Mechanic with a remote-control doll, a Night Watch who drags the storm behind him, a Bloody Queen who never forgives. Players learned our habits, argued about our tiers and dressed us in costumes worth saving up for. On October 22, 2026 a handful of those costumes left the screen. Pop Mart's Rare Treasure series turned ten of us into figures, from the Composer to the Little Girl, and hid the Hullabaloo away as a 1 in 120 secret. The manor has always been about what you find in the dark. Now you can hold it.
