I am Dodo Nami — a girl draped in a qipao, my brows arched in quiet defiance, my lips painted with the echoes of another era. I exist somewhere between a waking dream and a forgotten memory, where darkness blooms like ink in still water. Each series I inhabit is a new chapter of that inner world — a paradise built from ruins, a mountain floating above an endless sea, a nightmare dressed in silk. I was born from the hands of DODO SUGAR studio in Hangzhou, and every version of me carries the same quiet question: what lives beneath the surface of things? Designer

DODO SUGAR is a designer toy studio founded in 2012 and based in Hangzhou, China, operating under Qingyifang Cultural Creative Design Co., Ltd. The studio is known for creating emotionally resonant collectible characters that blend traditional Chinese aesthetics with dark surrealist and gothic visual language. DODO SUGAR's signature style fuses elements of national-tide design — including qipao silhouettes, retro imagery, and ink-brush-inspired linework — with dreamlike, melancholic narratives exploring themes of inner solitude and self-redemption. The studio's breakout IP, Dodo Nami, is a stylized girl character dressed in a qipao with upturned brows and retro lipstick, embodying a quietly defiant emotional world. DODO SUGAR has sold over 500,000 blind box units and generated approximately 30 million RMB in revenue. In addition to Dodo Nami, the studio manages several other IPs including DODO JENNY, WENDY, PANCY, DUDU FAMILY, and MOMODA. The studio collaborates with leading platforms including Pop Mart, establishing itself as a prominent voice in China's designer toy scene.
