Each blind box a moment of meeting — you don't know which version of me you'll find. The calm one. The one mid-thought. The one who's already decided. I don't ask you to understand me. Founded in China, ONICE Culture operates under the ethos of exploring the duality of the female psyche — blending the surface-level sweetness of anime aesthetics with darker undertones of emotional volatility, possessiveness, and inner conflict. The studio first gained traction with the Yandere Girls IP, a blind box character line whose name references the "yandere" archetype from Japanese pop culture — a character who appears gentle and devoted on the surface but conceals an obsessive, unstable inner world. Under ONICE Culture's direction, the IP is rendered not as a horror concept but as a nuanced emotional portrait: each figure in the series is styled with school uniforms, delicate facial features, and contrasting props or expressions that hint at hidden intensity.
