Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Review: Best Figures, Secret Odds, and Buying Advice

by Yuki 12 Sep 2026

Pop Mart Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Blind Box Series is a calm architectural Skullpanda release, but the quietness is the point. The set is built around old stone, suspended time, eaves, columns, veils, clock-like forms, and metallic accents. It is less about instant cuteness and more about whether a figure can hold a shelf by silhouette and texture.

The first thing I would look at is not the regular lineup. It is the hidden figure, because this release has a useful field-note angle: Grain of Time, also discussed by Chinese collectors as Weathered Time, has a picking profile that is more specific than a simple weight number.

Hidden figure field notes

Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Grain of Time secret figure

Grain of Time / Weathered Time is listed as Secret, 1/108. Visually, it feels more like a small time-worn object than a normal character pose: pale sculpting, aged gray detail, and a compact base that matches the series' museum-ruin atmosphere.

For blind-box picking, our strongest reference is around 135.9g. That puts it in a middle weight zone, so weight alone is not enough. The stronger clue is the hand feel: the box should feel controlled and stable, with the figure not freely knocking around inside, but when you press or move it from the left and right sides, the inner plastic bag can give a distinct loose sensation.

That combination matters: stable body, slightly loose side bag, mid-weight reading. It is a high-confidence clue, not a 100% guarantee. Batch tightness, scale differences, and nearby regular weights can still interfere. But if those three signals match at the same time, this is a box worth separating from the random pile.

Regular styles, by visual strength

Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Colonnade Contemplation confirmed style

1. Colonnade Contemplation

The cleanest regular-style concept. The gray column body, narrow vertical shape, and temple-like framing make it feel like Skullpanda is sealed inside a stone facade. It reads immediately as architecture, not just costume.

Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Mystic Veil confirmed style

2. Mystic Veil

The strongest single purchase. The black hair, black-and-gold dress, pale face, and long triangular skirt create instant contrast. It has the clearest shelf presence if you are not buying a full set.

Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Beneath Flying Eaves confirmed style

3. Beneath Flying Eaves

The roof does the work here. The dark curved eave, orange-brown underside, and small seated body make the figure look like it is sheltering under an old wooden structure. It is compact but very recognizable.

Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Beyond Light Trace confirmed style

4. Beyond Light Trace

This one is colder and more sculptural: silver-gray surface, crescent-like framing, and a mask-like face treatment. It feels almost metallic, which helps break up the softer cream figures.

Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Jazz Age Sheen confirmed style

5. Jazz Age Sheen

The softest regular pick: blonde hair, cream wrapping, curled side details, and a pale gown-like body. It is not dramatic, but the pearl-and-stone feeling gives it an elegant antique look.

Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Spiral Minuet confirmed style

6. Spiral Minuet

Pink, curled, and decorative, with a spiral base that gives the set a softer motion line. It is less architectural than the top picks, but it keeps the lineup from becoming too rigid.

Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Breathing Veins confirmed style

7. Breathing Veins

The glass-dome shape, muted green surface, and small landscape-like base make it feel like a specimen under protection. It is quieter as a single, but useful in the full display.

Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Spire Vigil confirmed style

8. Spire Vigil

The tall black spire crown and red rounded side accents give it a guarded, chapel-like silhouette. It is more severe than pretty, which is why it works better with the group than alone.

Skullpanda Where Time Dwells Bare Imprint confirmed style

9. Bare Imprint

The most understated regular style. The gray wing-like structure and closed face make it feel like a carved relief. It is subtle, but it gives the set a heavier ruin-like note.

How I would buy it

If you only want a few pieces, start with Colonnade Contemplation, Mystic Veil, Beneath Flying Eaves, and Beyond Light Trace. Those four give the strongest mix of architecture, contrast, silhouette, and material feel.

If you want the release as a shelf display, the opened whole set makes more sense than scattered singles. The cream figures, black-gold figure, silver figure, gray tower figure, and pink spiral figure balance each other better as a group.

If you are chasing the secret, use the 135.9g + stable body + loose side bag profile as a serious reference, but do not treat any single clue as absolute. The useful edge comes from combining weight and hand feel, not from trusting one number.
