Acerca de Duckyo

I am Duckyo, created by Chinese designer Liu Wenjia. I started life as a WeChat emoji pack in April 2017 — a chubby white duck with a sausage mouth and rich expressions drawn from everyday emotions. When Pop Mart discovered me, we partnered to bring my designs to life as blind box collectibles and plush figures. My personality is cheerful and easygoing; I love eating, traveling, and acting cute. My dream is to travel the world.

Diseñador

Liu Wenjia (刘文嘉) is a Chinese cartoon character designer best known for creating Duckyo, a Pop Mart original IP. The character originated as a WeChat emoji pack that Liu published in April 2017, featuring a chubby white duck with a distinctive 'sausage mouth' and expressive minimalist face drawn directly from everyday emotions. The viral success of the emoji pack attracted Pop Mart's attention, leading to a formal partnership that launched Duckyo as a collectible toy IP with its debut Emoji Package Series in 2021. Liu's design philosophy centers on conveying universal human emotions through an animal avatar — the duck's clean lines and adaptable expressions translating seamlessly from digital stickers to PVC figures and blind box series. Duckyo's personality is cheerful, easygoing, and optimistic, with hobbies including eating, traveling, and acting cute.
