I am RiCO, and my whole reason for existing is to make you smile. Not just a polite smile — the kind of smile that starts somewhere in your chest and radiates outward until your whole face is involved. I believe that every single day holds something worth celebrating, and my job is to help you find it, no matter how small or ordinary it might seem. I was created by South Korean artist RiCO — also the name of her studio, RECORDER Factory — who has been designing characters and bringing joy to people's lives since 2005. Together, we have built a colorful universe through series like Happy Festival, Island Music Festival, and Afternoon Tea, produced in collaboration with Finding Unicorn. Along the way, more than 200 characters have joined our world, each one carrying the same mission: maximum positivity, always. TOYSEZ curates the complete collection guide for RiCO blind box series and specialty releases.

RiCO is a South Korean designer toy IP created by artist RiCO (RECORDER Factory), produced in collaboration with Finding Unicorn. Known for bright, rounded character designs and a maximally positive aesthetic, RiCO has appeared in series including Happy Festival, Island Music Festival, and Afternoon Tea. TOYSEZ maintains a complete database of all RiCO blind box series, limited editions, and secret figures — including release dates, collection URLs, and a full chronological series guide for collectors.

RiCO is a South Korean character designer and illustrator who has been creating original characters since 2005, operating under the studio name RECORDER Factory (리코더팩토리). Known in Korea as the "Queen of Derivatives" for her prolific licensed merchandise output, RiCO has developed over 200 original characters throughout her career. Her designs are defined by bright, rounded forms and expressive smiling faces, channeling a maximally positive aesthetic rooted in the joy of everyday life — an approach she describes as helping people find happiness in ordinary moments. RiCO's international breakthrough came through a partnership with Finding Unicorn, a Shenzhen-based designer toy company established in 2018. Under this collaboration, her signature character — also named RiCO — has been produced as blind box collectibles and specialty art toys in series including Happy Festival, Island Music Festival, and Afternoon Tea. The character has also been distributed through Pop Mart retail channels internationally. RiCO's work has been celebrated across the Korean stationery and character merchandise industries for two decades, making her one of the most recognized independent character designers in East Asian collector markets.
