Bearbrick

Bearbrick is a well-known toy produced by Japan's MEDICOM company and was officially launched in August 2001.

Basic introduction to Bearbrick:

Style: Each generation of Bearbrick has basic styles, including BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, ANIMAL

BASIC Basic model: Each generation will launch a color, which is its main color. There will be a bright bead on its chest, and then there will be 9 letters. Each letter will be B E A R B R I C K.

JELLYBEAN Transparent: Each generation will have transparent colors. Mainly transparent, but launched in different colors.

PATTERN: Each generation will have different patterns, prints or special patterns.

FLAG flag model: Each generation will have a basic flag series.

HORROR: Horrible anime characters in every generation.

CUTE: In each generation, a cute design is selected, most of which are completed by female designers. .

ANIMAL: Each generation has a model with animal elements. Of course it doesn't have to be a real animal. The latest 18 series is the famous Hello Kitty

SF science fiction style: Choose a well-known science fiction image as the element.

ARTIST: Invite well-known artists to specially design styles, the quantity is very small. (2 per generation)

In addition, there will be a varying number of hidden models in each generation. The styles of the hidden models are not officially announced and can only be discovered by players themselves.

Size: 7cm 100%, 28cm 400%, 70cm 1000%, and five different sizes of 50% and 70%
Specifications: Each generation of products will come with a birth card for each bear, and one or several limited editions and hidden editions will be released to increase the fun of collection.

Material: The main materials of Bearbrick are ABS and PVC. There are also a small number of limited edition products made of metal, wood, flocking and other materials.

Origin: Most of them are produced in mainland China, and a small number of limited edition products are produced abroad.

Version: Players often say "Japanese version", "Hong Kong version", etc., but in fact it is just the difference between the place of sale. There is no difference in the toys themselves. They are all produced by the same manufacturer. However, due to different sales locations and different relevant laws, different certification marks may be affixed. Everything else is exactly the same. The mainland version you can buy is exactly the same as Japan.
